Every knitting project, no matter how small, will have at least 2 yarn ends that need to be dealt with upon finishing. Don't just cut them off! This could cause your whole project to unravel

This technique gives a wonderfully clean finish along the bound-off edge, and seamlessly joins at the beginning and end of round.

Stockinette always rolls up on itself. To keep the look of stockinette but prevent the edge from rolling, add a band of double-knitting.
